Klaq · Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the Klaq website, use our organization tools, or contact support. It covers account information, information you add to an organization, and information associated with website visits.
1. Information you provide
When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, display name, and authentication information. Organizations can contain customer and company details, deals, projects, tasks, time entries, invoices, estimates, and payment records. We also receive information you choose to include in support conversations or feedback. Avoid sharing passwords, full payment card details, or sensitive information in chat or public feedback.
2. Technical information and storage
Using an online service can generate technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request timestamps, and error or security logs. Klaq uses browser storage and authentication mechanisms to maintain account sessions and support application functionality. Third-party services, including the chat widget, may use their own cookies or browser storage. Browser settings can limit storage, but doing so may affect functionality.
3. How information is used
Information is processed to create and authenticate accounts, provide organization features, deliver requested messages and documents, respond to support requests, maintain service security, and diagnose technical problems. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the applicable basis depends on the activity and may include performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent where required.
4. Organization access and sharing
Information you add to an organization may be accessible to its owners, administrators, and other members according to their permissions. If you share a report, invoice, or other public link, people who receive that link may be able to view its contents. Your organization determines how it uses organization data; requests relating to information managed by an organization should also be directed to its administrator.
5. Service providers and integrations
Klaq uses service providers to support its operations. The marketing website loads Crisp for support chat; it may process chat messages and browser or visitor information. Our feedback link opens Canny, where your submissions may be visible according to that service’s settings. Where enabled, Google sign-in, Stripe payments, and Resend email delivery process information needed for those features. Their own privacy policies apply to their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained for the purposes described in this policy, including providing active accounts and organizations, maintaining records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it is needed. Account closure does not necessarily remove records controlled by another organization or records that must be retained by law. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You can update available profile details and manage information using the controls provided in your account and organization. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact Klaq through the website support chat to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and organization authority. You may also raise concerns with your local data protection authority.
8. International processing
Klaq and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable protections and transfer requirements depend on the locations and services involved. Contact support if you need details about processing locations or safeguards relevant to your organization before providing information subject to special restrictions.
9. Children’s information
Klaq is a business service and is not intended for children. Do not create an account if you are not legally able to agree to the service terms. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact support so the situation can be reviewed.
10. Policy changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services and practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact Klaq through the support chat on this website.
