Share a time report that keeps the review context intact
Create a frozen report snapshot on Pro, review the recipient-facing content, and control access with expiry, optional protection, and revocation.
A report is easier to discuss when everyone is looking at the same version. Klaq's shared reports use a frozen snapshot so the link preserves the review context from the moment it was created.
The short version
Shared reports require Pro and the appropriate workspace permissions. Set the report filters, inspect the result, and create a share link when it contains the information you intend to share. The link can expire or be revoked; later work does not turn the snapshot into a live view.
Define the question before creating the report
Choose the relevant date range, projects, people, and billable filters available in the report. A report for a particular customer engagement answers a different question from a broad workspace summary.
Check the title, notes, filter summary, rows, and totals that the recipient will see. The share action should be a deliberate handoff of a reviewed result rather than a way to avoid checking the filters.
Understand what stays frozen
The snapshot captures the report result when you create the link. New time entries or later edits do not continuously refresh that already-created snapshot.
If the review needs updated data, create a new report after checking the current filters. Tell the recipient which version you want to discuss so an earlier snapshot is not mistaken for the latest working record.
Treat the link as access to the report
Anyone who possesses an unprotected live share link may be able to view its permitted content. Share it only with the intended audience. Use the available password protection where appropriate and communicate the password through your normal separate process.
Review the expiry and revoke access when the report no longer needs to be available. Revocation stops access through that link; it cannot remove a copy someone has already saved outside Klaq.
Keep plan and report access separate from history
If the workspace loses its eligible Pro access, public and password-protected report links become unavailable under the plan checks. Retained report history is not a promise that a public link will remain usable.
You can still use the available revocation controls for retained shares. Check the current workspace options before promising access to a recipient.
Common questions
Is this a live client dashboard?
No. It is a frozen report snapshot with controlled link access.
Does sharing a report issue an invoice?
No. Report sharing and billing are separate workflows. Use approved-time import when you are ready to prepare an invoice.
